About me

I’m Lizzie Bildner, a Boston-based marketing and operations leader and two-time CMO. I’ve built marketing engines and organizations from scratch and revamped existing ones.

As the first marketing hire at a VC-backed company, I helped take it from seed to Series B. I built a 12-person marketing team, grew the budget from under $1M to more than $10M by proving ROI, and grew inbound from under 10% to 65% of total revenue.

Most recently, I was CMO of a PE-backed company and part of the four-person leadership team that grew revenue nearly 1,500%, resulting in the company’s sale in under three years. In this role, I overhauled marketing and sales across three software companies: positioning and messaging for each brand, demand generation and pipeline strategy for each business, and funnel reporting that tied marketing spend to revenue. The result was lower costs, better return on spend, and a growing customer base.

Today I’m a Goddard School franchisee and serve as our school’s business director, in addition to leading our company’s expansion efforts.
